MY MISSION I live for those who love me Whose hearts are kind and true For the heaven that smiles above me And awaits my spirit too For all human ties that bind me For the task my God assigned me For the bright hopes left behind me And the good that I can do 1 live to learn their story Who suffered for my sake To emulate their glory And follow in their wake liards patriots martyrs sages The noble of all ages Whose deeds crown historys pages And times great volume make 1 live to hold communion With all that is divine To feel there is a union Twixt natures heart and mine To profit by affliction Reap truth from fields of fiction Grow wiser from conviction And fulfil each graud design I live to hail that season By gifted minds foretold When man shall live by reason And not alone by gold When man to man united And every wrong thing righted The whole world shall be lighted As Eden was of old I live for those who love me For those who know me true For the heaven that smiles above me And awaits my spirit

North Waldo Pomona Grange North Waldo Pomona Grange was en tertained by Star of Progress Grange in Jackson Wednesday Sept 10th Although the sky was dark and the clouds threatening there was a goodly number present from the nearby granges and a pleasant and instructive meeting resulted Worthy Master O B Dow pre sided and the meeting was duly opened while Mr and Mrs F I Cronkhite satis factorily supplied the stations of Steward and Chaplain respectively Morning Light Sunrise Comet and Harvest Home Granges were represented besides the host grange During the business session a commu nication was read from the Lecturer of Waldo Pomona extending an invitation to tile members to meet with that Pomona at Frederick Ritchie Grange hall in Waldo Tuesday Sept 23rd The invitation was unanimously accepted At this time Mr and Mrs Sidney Tibbetts were introduced and received the instructions of the de gree of Pomona B WFarniiam of Comet Grange presided at the piano during the ceremony after which a delicious dinner was served by ladies of Star of Progress Grange and an enjoyable social hour fol lowed Grange was reassembled in the fifth de gree and the choir rendered a pleasing selection
