Eagle on one side; text on the other. Eagle illustration signed: Baker, Chicago. Text signed Alfred L. Sewell, care of Dunlop, Sewell & Spalding, Chicago. "Album portrait of 'Old Abe,' the live eagle which was carried through a three years' campaign, and many battles, by the 8th Wisconsin Regiment." Sold for the benefit of the Great Sanitary Fair in Chicago, which opened May 30, 1865. Also available in digital form.
