Map showing Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, and part of Texas. Shows drainage, cities and towns, and state boundaries, west of the Mississippi River. The adjoining area east of the Mississippi River shows only the rail network. The map indicates proposed, surveyed, located, and completed rail lines. Chartered in Arkansas in 1853 and in Missouri in 1854.

Topographic strip map of the Hudson River Valley from Waterford to New York City, showing drainage, relief by hachures, county and township boundaries, cities and towns, roads and canals. Indicates the track of the Hudson River Railroad and the "line surveyed but not adopted." Chartered in 1846 and consolidated with New York Central Railroad. See entries 486-488.
Map of eastern Massachusetts covering the area from Boston to Wood's Hole and west to Providence, R.I. Shows drainage, place names and counties, and indicates mileage between stations. The Old Colony Railroad is double-tracked from Boston, south to South Braintree. The line was incorporated in 1844.

Shows a canal, roads, turnpikes (complete, under construction, and proposed), railroad, seats of government, and seats of justice in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Date presumed to be between 1832-1835 based on the inclusion of a railroad between Frankfort and Lexington, Kentucky. Beneath legend: This plat, believed to be correctly extracted from the last edition of Hough & Bourne's map of the state of Ohio, and Munsel's map of the state of Kentucky, is respectfully forwarded to the Senators in Congress from Kentucky & Ohio by their obt. hble. sevt. Shows the area of Fairfax County, Va., which was the site of the Battle of Bristoe Station. The map is oriented with Cedar Run to the south, Bristoe to the west and indicates the route of the Orange and Alexandria Railroad. Also indicated are A. P. Hill's Corps, Army of Northern Virginia, engaging the Union's II Corps during its withdrawal toward Centreville, Va.
