"Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1870, by Joseph Mackey, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York." Imperfect: Fold-lined, torn (halved) at fold line, annotated in ink in lower margin "Deposited June 15ʺ 1870, no. 877." Includes text, descriptive directory of ship arrivals/departures, and cameo impression of the District Court. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image.
