We are for these things whatever helps most of us even at the expense of some of us cCUuaI WE SEE IT THIS WAY We are against these things whatever helps some of us at the expense of most of us A slim hope that a good reap portionment bill will come from a housesenate conference next week is held out by State Rep Karl Wiesenburg of Pascagoula A bill calling for establishment of a legislature of 100 representa tives and 51 senators was passed by the house Wednesday Con ferees from the house will negoti ate with this as a starting point It is possiblethough barelythat a true reapportionment might be worked out What will come forth however most probably will be just another rearrangement plan disguised as fair reapportionment The house bill passed Wednes day though is closer to a fair one than any other suggestion yet to come from the legislature Its 100 man house allows for one member from each of the states 82 coun ties with 18 other seats available for dividing among the most heav ily populated counties Fiftyone senators most probably is the opti mum number for the upper house Wiesenburg believes that
