Weekly Publisher Outlines Problems lie printed from The Publishers Auxiliary By Mel Hodell One of the most enjoyable aspects of my life is making money This is part and parcel of being in the newspaper busi ness as far as Im concerned Its fine and dandy of course to contribute every thing to your community and the public up to your eye brows free of charge in a continuing burst of mighty causes But after the day is over and you go home there is a matter of finding your off spring wellshod with a hair cut and a full satisfied sto mach And seeing as how the news paper business is a private enterurise there really is en joyment in making abuck on ce in a while I believe my greatest frus tration comes from the situa tion involving the split per sonalities who deal with a smaller newspaper when it comes to money On the one hand we often are wrooed with the most en thusiastic passion possible when it comes to printing news promotion advertising assorted whatnots about e ery thing and everybody in the newrs columns free of charge On the other hand we too often
