J P Coleman Favors Creating More Good Jobs The time has come for Mississippi to gear its indus trial program to the idea of creating not just jobs but more good jobs former gov ernor J P Coleman said in speeches over the state this week Coleman cited the record of great industrial progress which he said shows our success and accomplishments in the field of industrializa tion HP continued to expand on his plans for boosting the states economy and indus trialization program if he is elected governor for the next four years The key to creating more good jobs for Mississippians is an intensive research pro gram and a modern vocation al training program which will equip Mississippians with the skills they need to qualify for good jobs the former governor said Modern industry can not operate with unskilled work ers Coleman said and when we send our young people out into the world with no skills or specialized training we are condemning them to a mediocre income for the rest of their lives The former governor said he would pattern his program for skilled training after the highly successful program in North Carolina Howell Warner And Billy
