Negro 4H Rally Held In Tchula Saturday About 1500 4H Club boys and girls their leaders sponsors advisors and parents attended the annual Negro 4H Rally Day Saturday which featured a parade in downtown Tchula led by the Belzoni Band and a beautiful 4H float decorated in the traditional green and white and a splendid program at the Tchula Attendance Center Saturday marked the first time the 4H Rally Day had been held any place in Holmes County other than Lexington Barbara Ann Luckett presi dent of the Junior 4H Coun cil Senior Section and Wal ter Hums vice president both of Tchula served as mis tress and master of cere monies at the program which was held before a packed house at the Tchula Attend ance Center 4H Club boys and girls participating in the parade and rally wore their uniforms and 4H caps The devotional featured an original playlet on Creation which was written and per formed bv students of the Tchumla School with Pauline Banks at the piano As the crowd assembled in the large auditorium the guest band from McNair High School in Belzoni led by Bandmaster Lonnie Haynes gave a program of appro priate music
