UosUaii But Not UN Legislature Can Decide State Reapportionmenf The men in the Legislature seem to be spending a lot of time talking and listening to talk memorializing Con gress on matters which are complete ly outside their jurisdiction and final ly politics as usual with tthe little petty squabbles and infighting the public has come to regard as the nature of the Mississippi Legislature Let us hope that if and when these gentlemen get down to work they will be consistent in their approach to the solution of the states many serious problems and it wont be another ses sion of saying Dont do as we do but do as we say do We refer specifically to their memorializing the United States Con gress to limit contributions to the United Nations and prohibit the U S from participating or buying any bonds that may be issued by the United Nations This action was said to be inspired by House Speaker Walter Sil lers and others It received a highly favorable vote in the House and over whelming approval in the Senate Tt is well and good that we stand for fair play in the United Nations and we agree
