The Vice-President presented the following letter from the Secretary of the Interior in response to Senate resolution of February 7, 1896, directing the Secretary of the Interior to inform the Senate whether the schedule relating to the names, organization, and length of service of those who had served in the Army, Navy, or Marine Corps of the United States in the War of the Rebellion was prepared and the information required taken for the Eleventh Census
